GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT

Thank you for visiting our website.

My name is Ian Cameron, and I am the first president of RROCSS. In one way, RROCSS is the successor to the Central Saanich Ratepayers Association, which existed for many years as an important part of the Central Saanich community. Unfortunately, that association grew to depend more and more on fewer and fewer people to run it, and when those people burned out there was no-one to take their place. We’re going to try very hard to make sure that doesn’t happen to RROCSS.

And one way we can ensure that doesn’t happen again is to attract active members. We’re trying to construct a Society that offers something for a great many people, so there are lots of active members, representing all parts of the community, both geographically and socially.

If you are a member, get involved. Contact us. Let us know what you’d like to contribute. If you are not a member, join. It’s about as cheap as any organization you can imagine, and the benefits are many, especially if you are new to the area.
